Zotac GF6100-F-E
$62.00
Released October, 2010
The Pros:Reliable performance, good support that is responsive and helpful. Good integrated GPU performance, most users will not need to add a dedicated GPU. Excellent low cost solution that does the basics well, covers all bases not need to extra add-ons.
The Cons:65 watt low processor power limit, restricts processor choices, though it should not be too big of a problem for media center builds. CPU coolers might obstruct ram slots, buyers can only pick certain coolers. Only 2 SATA ports, limits the number of hard drives/optical drives.
The Zotac GF6100-F-E is a basic motherboard for a low-cost PC build. This is similar to the Zotac GF6100-E-E motherboard, but support for older AM2 socket CPUs has been dropped in favor of strictly AM3/AM2+ support, and memory slots now accept DDR3.
