The Zoom Q3HD is a pocket-sized camcorder capable of 1080p video recording. Released in late 2010, this camcorder can shoot at 30 frames per second when set to Full HD (1080p) mode, or 60 fps in the lower resolution (720p) setting.

While there is no optical zoom on the Q3HD, the 4x digital zoom can be adjusted through the integrated 2.4-inch color LCD on the unit’s back side. For recording sound, the Q3HD has two on-board condenser mics installed in a 120 degree X/Y pattern for accurate stereo recording. HDMI output is available for use with HDTVs, allowing users to quickly share video at home or on-the-go. USB 2.0 provides connectivity for transferring media to a computer, while custom YouTube uploading software is included for internet sharing. A 2GB SD card, soft shell case and tripod are included in the box.
