Yamaha FD01S
$230.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Action isn't too high, designed to be easy to play. Easy to get a clear sound. Tuning is very easy, usually just needs some slight adjustment to the top 2 strings.
The Cons:Minor details in the design, such as visible glue where the neck joins the body. Frets are rather cheap, but you only notice after having played it for some time.
One of the company's inexpensive models, the Yamaha FD01S is a six-string acoustic guitar that's designed to be an instrument for beginners. With a 14-fret body style, the guitar has a Nato neck and a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge that offers a lot of comfort for those unfamiliar with guitars.
