WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011
Released October, 2010
The Pros:Improvements to the highly regarded WWE Community Creations feature. New physics system ensures all matches and object interactions look and feel unique. Unique WWE Universe mode allows players simulate match outcomes over a long period of time.
The Cons:An expansion on last year's Smackdown game - nothing truly revolutionary to be found in the 2011 edition. Leveling up attributes takes a long time and it's generally not worth it. Poor lip syncing - mouths tend to flap around without any regard for the recorded voices.

Featuring an updated physics engine for increased realism when using weapons such as tables, ladders and chairs, weapon stress and player damage are now dependent on the angle and force involved in a given attack. Players can roam freely throughout the stage environment with full access to backstage areas, with "Hell In A Cell" match mode including access to objects underneath the ring and new ways to escape the cage. "Career Mode" has been replaces with "WWE Universe Mode", building a user-navigated storyline of matches, alliances and rivalries based on a player's success. "Road To Wrestlemania Mode" sees players choosing one of 10 current superstars as they complete various tasks in effort to dethrone The Undertaker as WWE world champion. In terms of customization, Smackdown vs Raw 2011 includes an updated version of the series' "Create A Superstar Mode" with pre-loaded attribute points, alongside "Create A Finisher Mode" for designing one's own match-ending maneuver. In addition, the game offers free online play to all users that purchase the game brand new, with an online pass provided for unlimited internet gameplay.
