Vivitar Vivicam T324N

$100.00 Released November, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Good response, no lag in the interface. Takes fast, sharp pictures in full daylight.

The Cons:Pictures come out dark and grainy in most conditions. Rubber flap door for the memory card feels flimsy and breakable. Video recording is generally fairly grainy.

The Vivitar Vivicam T324N is a mid-cost digital camera. The 3x optical zoom of this camera delivers crisp images, and allows you to make large prints and crop images without losing any detail.

The 2.4" screen of the T324N allows you to frame pictures, as well as see what you have just shot. The 12.1 megapixel resolution of this camera offers high-quality images with color depth. For saving photos and video, there is a 32MB memory as well as SD card support for up to 8GB. This camera differs from the lower cost Vivicam T024 model in that it has 8x digital zoom (which more capturing options from farther away). However, this camera lacks the higher cost Vivicam T026 model's 4x optical zoom, (which allows you to capture high quality pictures from further away than 3x), and SD card support for up to 32GB.  There are color options for the Vivitar Vivicam T324N digital camera.

Robin P.: #vivitar_vivicam_t324n Didn't like that the default setting is 3MP, which causes grainy pictures. After playing with it a bit, found the higher resolution that makes for sharper pictures though. Good value. Jan 3, 12

Big Nick: #vivitar_vivicam_t324n This was a good buy considering I paid under 60 bucks for the camera. I'm broke as a joke so I went the cheap way with this camera so I'm pretty satisfied with what I got so far. The faults to this camera are minor in my opinion considering it's price but you get what you pay for.

The only things I don't like are when you got the flash on it flashes twice, you gotta manually turn the flash on each time you power it up and it's video and audio quality. If you are going to do video with this camera I strongly you do it in a well lit area.

I would recommend this camera if you're a beginner, buying a camera for your kids and or if you're on a tight budget like myself.

Here are a few pictures that I took myself:
