The ViewSonic VPC221 is a mid-range all-in-one PC similar to the ViewSonic VPC191. The VPC221 boasts a number of significant improvements over the VPC191, namely: an Nvidia GeForce 310M discrete video card, an Intel Core i3 processor (as opposed to the VPC191's Atom processor), a larger display (21.5" as opposed to 18.5"), more RAM (4GB over 2GB) and a larger hard drive (500GB as opposed to 250GB).

Otherwise, the two PCs sport the same basic features, including a 4-in-1 media card reader and integrated 802.11b/g/n WiFi.
The VPC221's Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card provides it with support for high definition video playback while offering light to moderate gaming performance. Its Intel Core i3 processor provides the VPC221 with enough processing power to handle day-to-day use easily, while offering light to moderate multitasking. Meanwhile, the VPC221's 21.5" LCD display features LED backlighting which provides greater contrast than with typical LCD backlighting techniques while requiring less energy.
