The added feature to the TK-409K from the TK-407K is the audio switching capability. In addition to four sets of VGA inputs, there are four sets of audio and microphone inputs, so that up to four computers can share the same monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and microphone. All the necessary cabling is included in the box. The hardware itself is compatible with any mouse-capable operating system, however there is convenience client-software and hot-keying ability that is Windows only. Otherwise, there are four hardware buttons that control which computer is being output.
