There is a built in mous emulator that supports most major feature-added mice including IntelliMouse, Optical Mouse, and NetMouse. The hardware itself is multi-platform, however the device does come with Windows-only convenience software for client switching and a user-definable hot-key. All needed power for the device is provided over USB, and there are hardware buttons to switch between PC's.
