TRENDnet TK-1603R

The TRENDnet TK-1603R is a 16-port USB and PS/2 rack mount KVM switch designed for managing up to sixteen VGA-compatible computers. It features sixteen VGA HDB 15-pin PC ports and three console ports: a mouse port, a keyboard port, and a graphics port.

Once connected, a network administer can easily switch between PCs via hot keys. Unfortunately there is no daisy chain functionality. However, the TK-1603R KVM switch is compatible with both PS/2 and USB peripherals, which is a plus. It, however, doesn’t support DVI displays. One noticeable weakness is that one can only see which computer is selected by looking at the LEDs. Some higher end models offer an on-screen display.
