Signature to the 9.9 SSL is its SID World Cup work fork and Motion Control Dampening, which ensure sturdy steering with the cushioning needed for protection from impact. Included also are several Shimano components, including 27-speed shifting and XTR discs. Added to that the Lite Disc wheels with Scandium rims and the Trek Elite 9.9 SSL is the lightest, stiffest, and fastest racing bike in the series.
