Trek Earl

$459.99 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1The Trek Earl is an entry level, bare bones casual utility bike designed for fun bike rides, traveling to and from work, and just getting by. Featured is a chromoly steel frame that is durable enough to survive years of use, but certainly not durable enough for rough conditions like gravely roads.

Core though is a single speed drive train. Since it’s single speed, the only way to use the Earl is to peddle very hard. As such, the Earl has the benefit of also being a book bike for losing weight and/or building one’s leg muscles. For safety, the Earl includes a high grade brake system, fat tires, and a fat fender to ensure riders can stop at ease, and that also ensures the bike won’t fall apart in case a biker ever accidentally runs into a bush or car fender.
