The Pros:Need to find this ball...... it's the only ball my dog wants to play with.... HELP. NEED THIS TOY DESPERATELY!!! LAB WON'T PLAY WITH ANYTHING ELSE!! Best toy ever, my toy destroyer dog cannot destroy this one.

The Cons:Difficult to find. My dogs all love playing with this toy, and my Nieces dog won't eat without his.

Why do they stop making the toys that last and that the dogs love. If available I would buy at least a dozen. Anonymous: Amazon has a new toy called Multipet's 11.5-inch Latex Polka Dot Globken Chicken Dog Toy for $7.99 that is the first toy even close to the playability of the tug n toss (which my Jack Russells LOVED). They play with this chicken toy the same way. The latex is high quality and the sqeaker is inside the beak so it is not so easily removed. I really like this toy and the dogs have been playing with it a lot. Nothing will replace the tug n toss, but this is close - give it a try! Sep 2, 11

He carried pieces of it around until and I had to finally throw them away. All he did was mope around. Last week, my mother found one I had left at her house. When he heard the first squeek, it was as if I had my dog back. I tried other toys but this one is his one and only. Now I don't know if anyone knows this, but there were originally 2 different sizes made. Last year, Petco was still selling the larger one, which may be the one y'all are talking about, but I am looking for the one that is like half the size b/c my dog will only play with the small one and hates the big ones. Happy hunting people and if anyone does find out where to buy these or has a smaller one to sell to me...I will pay top $$$. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Feb 17, 09

I believe it was manufactured in the far east by Petco and they no longer carry it!

It's NOT at Amazon, eBay OR Shopping.com.

(At the dog beach in Evanston, IL we jokingly call it the "Doggie Crack Toy"...it's apparently addictive, VERY desirable and nothing else compares!)

Someone at Petco made a very very bad decision!
