Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Irons
$700.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Exceptional feel on short irons- great for scoring. Substantial mass behind the shot; will help golfers create a lower, boring ball flight. Short irons should be able to generate enough spin.
The Cons:Mid handicappers will have trouble hitting the long irons. Some golfers will not like the "cord-like" grip. Might be to heavy for golfers that have a slower swing speed.
The Tour Edge Exotics XCG Irons are game-improving irons that, like the original XCG irons, feature a dual-density dampening system (3DS) that ensures both long & short irons deliver the responsiveness needed to flush every shot.

But it goes a step further by covering the entire cavity with an ultra-light carbon/thermal plastic elastomer (TPE), resulting in a lighter dampening system and thinner face design, which in turn means improved forgiveness. Plus the XCG-3 Irons host a heavy sole and thin top line, a traditional face height and depth, and extreme perimeter weighting. The end result is greater distance, maximum spin control, and shots that fly higher but land softer.
