Toshiba Satellite Pro U400

The Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 is a laptop designed to bridge the gap between business and consumer laptops. It has 13.3" display screen, and weighs in at 4.6 pounds. The unit has three USB ports and a firewire port, and has a fingerprint reader for extra security, as well as a hard-drive protector that senses jolts and bumps and ceases the drive heads from spinning in order to protect against data loss.

The laptop also has a built-in webcam for video conferencing, a DVD SuperMulti drive and has "Sleep and Charge" USB functionality that allows for charging USB devices when the computer is turned off. The unit comes with a 2.1-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor and 1GB of RAM (upgradable to 2GB), 160GB hard-drive, Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 Graphics Card, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V2.1, and Windows XP Professional.
