The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6054 is a mid-range to high-end notebook laptop very similar to the Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050. The main improvement that the A665-S6054 boasts over the A665-S6050 is its Intel Core i5-450M processor (as opposed to the S6050's Intel Core i3-350M).

Otherwise, besides lacking the S6050's 12-cell battery, the A665-S6054 and A665-S6050 sport the same basic features, including: a 16" LCD display (1366x768), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a memory card reader, a 500GB hard drive, an HDMI output and an Intel HD graphics processor.
The A665-S6054's Intel Core i5-450M processor and 4GB of DDR3 RAM allow it to tackle any job with ease, from heavy multitasking to multimedia use. Its Intel HD graphics processor allows the A665-S6054 to play high definition media files at 720p on its 16" LCD display and 1080p via HDMI when connected to a 1080p capable external display. Additionally, the A665-S6054's memory card reader allows it to interface directly with popular media cards (SD, SmartMedia, CompactFlash).
