The Toshiba Satellite A505-S6995 is a higher-end, 16" notebook computer, one of several pre-built options in the A500 series. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor clocking in at 2.13 GHz, 6 GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive.

The A505-S6995 is one of several models in the A500 series with a discrete graphics card, utilizing the NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M. With shared memory and this 1GB card, the notebook features 3838 MB of total graphics memory, enabling more than adequate gaming performance. It is a step up from the S6992 in memory, and also adds Dolby surround sound. The A505-S6995 also features a slot-loading CD/DVD drive, built-in webcam, and an HDMI port for playing HD content on a larger display. Windows 7 is pre-installed.
