Toshiba Satellite A505-S6990

The Toshiba Satellite A505-S6990 is a higher-end, 16", Blu-Ray notebook computer, one of several pre-built options in the A500 series. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor clocking in at 2.20 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive.

At $850, it is the least expensive model to include a Blu-Ray disc drive. The A505-S6990 uses integrated graphics, and so is not designed as a gaming laptop, but will provide strong performance in general computing tasks. The A505-S6990 also features a DVD burner, built-in webcam, and an HDMI port for playing HD content on a larger display. Windows 7 is pre-installed.
