Toshiba Satellite A505-S6983

The Toshiba Satellite A505-S6983 is a mid-range, 16" notebook computer, one of several pre-built options in the A500 series. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor clocking in at 2.13 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive.

Compared to the A505-S6982, the S6983 features a 25% larger hard drive, but a slightly slower CPU. Both models rely on integrated graphics, and so are not designed as gaming laptops, but will provide strong performance in general computing tasks. The A505-S6983 also features a DVD burner, built-in webcam, and an HDMI port for playing HD content on a larger display. Windows 7 is pre-installed.
