The Toshiba Satellite A505-S6040 is a high-end notebook laptop and is the top of the Toshiba Satellite A505 line. The A505-S6040 boasts two features that no other laptop in the Satellite A505 feature: 6GB of DDR3 RAM (the rest of the A505 line sports 4GB) and a slot-loading DVD Supermulti drive with labelflash (as opposed to a standard tray drive).

The A505-S6040 also sports: an Intel Core i7-720QM processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M GPU, a 16" LCD display (1366x768), a 500GB hard drive, an 802.11b/g/n WiFi card and an HDMI output.

The A505-S6040's 6GB of RAM provide it with superior performance, especially in conjunction with its Intel Core i7 processor, allowing for extreme multitasking.
