The REGZA 40XV648U is an LCD HDTV from Toshiba's mid-range XV648 Cinema Series.  The TV is the smallest offering in the series with a 40" widescreen display, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a native resolution of 1080p for viewing full HD content.

  It utilizes a ClearFrame 120Hz panel and has 14-bit digital video processing for reduced motion blur and clearer images.  The TV also features a Dynalight dynamic backlight control to produce deeper blacks and has CrystalCoat technology which prevents the picture from being affected by the lighting in the room.  The REGZA 40XV648U is created with Toshiba's Deep Blue Lagoon design and hidden stereo speakers.  The TV is specially suited for watching movies since it has Cinema and TheaterWide viewing modes and CineSpeed panel technology for faster response times.  It also includes Dolby Volume which accounts for volume changes in the broadcasting to keep the sound at the same level.  The REZGA 40XV648U comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
