Although originally outfitted with an Intel Core 2 Duo P7350(2.0GHz)/1066MHz FSB processor, the upgraded G55-Q802 includes Toshiba’s 2.0GHz Quad Core HD Processor, 4GB of PC6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM, and an 18.4” wide-screen TruBrite TFT active-matrix LCD monitor that supports 1680x945(HD+) resolution.

In addition, the Qosmio G55 includes an nVidia GeForce9600M GS graphics card with 512MB of discrete DDR memory. It also features a 250GB(rpm) HDD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth(optional), Gigabit LAN, and a Regza HDMI-CEC link to allow simultaneous instant device configurations through a single remote. Although considered heavy due to a weight of 10.8lbs, the Toshiba Qosmio G55 is cited as being a first class solution for at-home entertainment and gaming needs.
