Thule 990XT Doubletrack

The Thule 990XT Doubletrack is an upper mid-cost bike rack. This is a lightweight platform hitch made for transporting two bikes safely and securely on the back of a vehicle. In terms of safe transportation, the adjustable hooks, which are attached to the center mast, move independently to grab, hold and stabilize each bike while you drive.

To ensure there is no problem with fitting your vehicle's hitch, a hitch adapter is included to accommodate 1¼" or 2" receivers. To avoid taking up unnecessary space in your vehicle, the Hitch Switch lever folds up the platform to a smaller size when it is not in use. For extra safety when you are driving with the 990XT Doubletrack, Thule recommends purchasing the optional Snug-Tite receiver lock, which virtually eliminates hitch rack movement in the receiver and locks the hitch rack to the vehicle.
