The TaylorMade R9 Fairway Woods is a golf club wood geared towards all player types with its ability to change the face angle, loft, and lie. The unit’s Flight Control Technology (FCT) lets users change settings to promote up to 36 yards of trajectory change.

Plus the R9’s High Inertia Tip (HIT) technology promotes faster ball speed, while the advanced sole design is more rounded and beveled to increase playability. Note that the unit retails in two models: R9 and R9 TP. The only difference is that the R9 is available with a Fujikura Motore 65 shaft, while the R9 TP is available with an Aldilda Voodoo NV6 or VS6 as well a a slightly open club face at address; Fujikura Motore 65, 75, or 85; or a Matrix Xcon5 or HD6 shaft. Both units sport an identical clubhead shape that combines a super-high MOI and easy-launching CG position.
