The Pros:A pair of regular batteries will last a whole year before you need to change them. Doesn't need Bluetooth, making it compatible with a wider range of devices. Very comfortable to rest your hand on, nice ergonomics.
The Cons:Response isn't quite fast enough for gaming purposes.
Wi-Fi Laser Mouse (AMW58US) is part of Targus's new line of laser mice made in tandem with Ozmo's popular Wi-Fi PAN (Personal Area Network) technology, using their OZMO2000 chip which was the industry's first solution to connecting peripheral devices to a laptop's Wi-Fi receiver.

The mouse is compact enough to be used with a laptop and connects directly to your computers Wi-Fi network for wireless plug and play operation. Four-way scroll wheel has been added to enhance functionality over the standard vertical scroll wheel, and the mouse supports Windows 7 task switching with one button press. Two Energizer batteries have also been included which should last 12 months with regular use. This new generation of mobile Wi-Fi device does not use Bluetooth, but rather connects to the even more widely used and implemented Wi-Fi technology found in most modern computers.

#targus_wi_fi_laser_mouse_amw58us I have this mouse, to user talking about a "reciever" being unlikely knocked out... I agree it's a part of your computer it's called wifi. Everything you need is in the mouse and in your laptop. No little peices to lose!
