Product Shot 1 The Pros:Excellent value for the price, offers solid performance much cheaper than most mixers. Kill switches are effective, make it easy to just switch off a chanel. Can equalize the audio to a precise tone, offers good control.

The Cons:Crossfader isn't clarified, doesn't play both channels evenly at the mid-point. Need to play with individual channel levels as you crossfade to make it even. Limited number of effects available.

The Stanton SMX.311 is a simple, low-cost 3 channel mixer. The unit consists of basic EQ and fader controls without any extra features such as effects or loop sampling. Each channel has a phono and line input as well as a 3 band EQ.

The body is made of solid aluminum for durability, and the design adopts a black and gray color scheme. The microphone input has a talk over control to more easily mix in the DJ's voice, and the cueing section uses a cue / master mix control. The crossfader is replaceable and is designed to allow very little crosstalk between channels. Output is available to a master as well as a booth output for monitors or recording.
