The VGN-SR590GXB is a LED backlit 13.3” widescreen notebook computer designed for both performance and mobility. This particular model in the VAIO SR series is available in one color only: black.

The notebook is built out of lightweight magnesium alloy, and weights approximately 4 pounds. The VGN-SR590GXB features a Core 2 Duo processor at 2.53GHz, 4GB of memory, 320GB of hard drive storage, plus an ATI HD4570 graphics card with 512MB of dedicated video RAM. Users with HDTVs will likely find the built-in HDMI port useful when needed for watching movies or displaying other high-def content. Additional features include a biometric fingerprint scanner for added security and a motion sensor which locks the hard drive to prevent damage if dropped. The Sony VAIO SR Series VGN-SR590GXB comes preloaded with Windows 7 Professional.
