The Sony VAIO BZ Series is a business oriented laptop that is designed to be durable and easy to modify. The RAM, hard drive, optical drive and keyboard are easy to access and the outside of the laptop is protected by a magnesium alloy, a spill-resistant keyboard and G-Sensor Shock protection which protects against rough movements.

The Sony VAIO BZ Series comes with Windows Vista Business, but also has the option to downgrade to Windows XP professional, something that most laptops don't offer anymore. One very unusual feature is the fact that the laptop comes without the mass of nonsense software that bogs computers down, specifically so that an IT department doesn't have to spend precious time removing the unnecessary space wasters.
