Product Shot 1 The Pros:Value - produces quality sound for the price. Adequate natural bass response. Very light - good for extended use.

The Sony MDR-ZX100 on-ear ZX Series stereo headphones offer cushioned ear pads for extra comfort, and a noise-canceling, closed dynamic supra-aural design.  With these features, as well as a 47 1/4 inch long Y-type connector cord, they are designed for flexible use at home, in the studio, or in heavy traffic areas with high levels of background noise.

These headphones also come with a frequency response of 12-22,000Hz and 30mm dome type driver units, offering optimum bass-response performance and an extended low to high range.  With an impedance of 24-Ohms at 1 kHz, the low resistance allows for more efficient conversion of electrical energy into sound.  This is especially useful when used in low output voltage units, such as portable players, because it maximizes the sound available in an otherwise low-power unit.  Finally, with an adjustable over-the-head, monitor headband and swivel ear cups, these headphones offer lightweight portability as well as sound quality.
