Sony MDR-XB500
$80.00
Released August, 2010
The Pros:The large, pillow-like earpads are quite comfortable and large enough to accommodate larger ears. With some simple EQ tweaking, these perform very well for the price. Fairly effective at blocking out background noises.
The Cons:The large earcups look ridiculously big. The bass is way too strong, overwhelming the mids and highs. Tend to overheat your ears after an hour or so.
