The Sony HT-CT550W is a home theater system consisted off a 2.1 sound bar, subwoofer, and tuner. It is designed to be used with 40'' or larger Sony HD TVs. The system delivers a total of 400 watts of power through the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer.

The system can accept up to 3 HDMI inputs to save the user from switching cables. HDMI standby pass through also means that the user can still access the HDMI sources without turning the soudn bar system on. Other features include Dolby TrueHD and dts Master Audio5 support as well as BRAVIA Sync which allows the sound bar system to be controlled by a BRAVIA TV remote.
