Sony Handycam DCR-SR68

$330.00 Released November, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:LCD display resolution is excellent (quality issues only apply to monitor/projection outputting). Zooming is clear and highly responsive - enables users to zoom while moving and hone in on objects over 100 feet away. 80GB internal storage is very handy - especially helpful for long, consecutive shots.

The Cons:Video/picture quality is fairly disappointing - dark and grainy results even when sufficient lighting is available. Auto-focus technology performs poorly - prolonged adjustment time on moving objects. Touchscreen prompts require the camera's viewfinder to be engaged at all times when filming - can be frustrating for streamlined angles and impromptu shooting.

The Sony Handycam DCR-SR68 is a mid-cost offering. With its professional-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, this camcorder is able to deliver sharp, high-resolution images. The DCR-SR68's 60X optical zoom lets you capture tight shots from a distance.
