The Cyber-shot DSC-H55's 10x (25mm) optical zoom G-Lens is the same one used in Sony's high-end DSLR cameras and HD camcorders, offering high-quality zoom while SteadyShot image stabilization technology ensures clear images even at maximum zoom. Its Sweep Panorama technology allows the Cyber-shot DSC-H55 to take ultra-wide shots very easily, requiring only that the user press the shutter button and sweep across a desired direction while the camera takes a number of quick successive photographs and knits them together.
