The Pros:Setup is simple and user-friendly, great wizard. Extremely low power draw, great for the environmentally conscious. Plenty of inputs, enough for everything in the house.
The Cons:Light sensor is over-active, tends to make the screen darker than needed. Tends to get a lot of vibration in the speakers even at medium volume.
The BRAVIA VE5 is Sony's line of environmentally friendly LCD HDTVs that contain specific features that reduces energy consumption. The three main features Sony touts is the "near zero-watt standby mode", high-efficiency HCFL backlight, and a presence sensor for automatic shutoff.
