The Sony BDV-E780W is one of three 3D-compliant home theater systems (BDV-E780W, BDV-E580, and BDV-E280) released together in early 2011. The top unit in the series, this 5.1-channel system features two rear wireless speakers, two 2-way front speakers, a central channel, and a subwoofer.

Like its peers, the Sony BDV-E780W offers 1080p playback of 2D and 3D Blu-ray sources, as well as standard playback of DVDs and CDs. Plus it comes with integrated WiFi with DLNA compliance for streaming from a PC, smartphone, iPhone/iPod (dock included), or directly from the Internet.
