The system includes a wireless adapter and an ethernet port to connect to the internet in order to stream videos from sources like Youtube, Amazon Video on Demand, and Netflix. These videos are downloaded directly to the player itself and does not require an additional connection to any computer system. The BDP-S770 also upscales streaming video and standard definition discs to make them appear as close to HD quality as possible. Along with the traditional remote control that is included with the player, users have the option to download an app on an iPhone or iPod that allows it to function as a secondary remote control.
