Both treadmills have a red LED readout that shows the speed, incline, time, distance traveled, calories, pulse and pace. Both treadmills have six pre-programmed workouts (two of which focus on your heart rate), and give you the option of setting up two user defined workouts. Both the TT8 and the S77 have a Cushion Flex shock absorption whisper quiet deck, which helps you to avoid making a lot of noise when you work out. The TT8 is a step up from the lower cost S77 in that it has a 425 pound user weight (the S77's is only 400 pounds), a 22" x 60" running surface (the S77's is 20" x 60"), a 32" x 80" deck (the S77's is 30" x 80") and 3 inch rollers (the S77's are 2.75 inches). The Sole TT8 comes with a lifetime motor, deck and frame warranty, five year parts warranty and two year labor warranty. If being used in a light commercial setting, the warranty goes down to three year parts and one year labor.
