$70.00

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Simple design. Clears a wide path. Easy to use.

The Cons:Can't use on gravel. Doesn't work well in icy conditions. $70 for a sheet of plastic with tiny wheels.

The Snowmaster Snowscoop is an innovative shovel that uses a combination wheel and extra-wide shovel head to effectively remove large quantities of snow. The Snowscoop's main selling point is their 4" diameter wheel that sits at the base of the shovel and aids in pushing the snow, as well as bearing the brunt of the weight from collected snow.

Anonymous: #snowmaster_snowscoop OK people-I got one of these for my mom maybe 20 years ago. She has been using it every winter (In Pittsburgh, PA - on a sloping driveway). She is now 81 and still removing the snow -all 4'11" and 98 lbs of her. Every opportunity she has she thanks me and raves how FABULOUS it is. Hers is the only clear driveway in the neighborhood. People passing by stop and ask how they can get one too. Don't knock it until you have tried it! Jan 23, 11

ccr417: #snowmaster_snowscoop I got one, 28" wide, because I needed something to make snow removal easier and quicker. Too large and too heavy for a petite female over 50 ! Doesn't move "slushy" snow at all! Won't "cut" into the snow. I regret buying it. I think the "Silver Bear" snow scoop would probably be a much better choice. Tired of getting ripped off buying disappointing products though; and the Snowmaster was "Made in the USA" and was also listed on the internet as recommended by Bob Vila on "The Today Show". Those two bits of info were what convinced me to try it. The wheels do help move the snow, but do nothing to help scoop it up. Dec 16, 07

dakalvia: #snowmaster_snowscoop This thing is ridiculous...I would never buy this. Living in the great white north and having shoveled a lot of snow, I can tell you right now that the best use for this would be to flip i upsidedown and use it as a toboggan. Couple of problems I can see would be the wheels jamming with ice and snow, and also just sliding around (particularly if they are just plastic wheels). As a cheap alternative to this thing, why not just pick up a piece of plywood and push it around. Pick up a straight-jacket while you are at it, because after 10mins of snow-clearing you will be driven clinically insane with frustration. Nov 20, 07

Anonymous: IT IS OBVIOUS DAKALVIA HAS NEVER USED THE SNOWMASTER. LEARNING TO USE IT PROPERLY AND GETTING USED TO HITTING THE SWEET SPOT WITH THE WHEEL MAKES SNOW REMOVAL A BREEZE. GREAT PRODUCT! JB Jan 10, 11

Erik: I don't think he has used it. However, I can see where his skepticism lies. This thing looks ridiculous, and I can't imagine it working. Maybe for 1 inch of perfectly fluffy snow? Where do you live? How much snow do you get? Jan 10, 11

GT-D: #snowmaster_snowscoop hmm - I've shoveled a fair bit of snow - this looks like it might be great if all you have to do is flat walkways. Nov 20, 07

Erik: #snowmaster_snowscoop I've shoveled more snow than most people, and I have to say that this is ridiculous. Get a snow float instead, it's *way* better than this. I don't know what most people call that though. It's a shovel with a large reservoir and a U-shaped handle. Man, I can't find it anywhere on the Interweb....that's what our family called it anyway.
