The SC-5U articulating rear suspension and 20 inch wide track are the same, and the Pilot 6.9 skis can be adjusted to different stances. A skid plate and heavy-duty front bumper have been added to deal with obstacles, and a 1500 pound WARN winch is attached above the hitch. The driver and passenger have their own 12 volt power outlets, and a heavy-duty 30 amp/hr battery powers the system. As seen in the LE model, an air radiator with fan is set up to account for the heat generated by a hard-working engine, and the system uses an electric starter.
