Sigma DP2x

The Sigma DP2x is a mid-cost digital camera. The main selling point of this portable camera is its fourteen megapixel Foveon X3 sensor, which Sigma promotes as twelve times larger than sensors usually found in cameras this size.

This sensor, which is similar to the sensors found on Sigma's much larger SD15 and SD1 DSLR cameras, is capable of producing high-quality (330dpi) poster-size prints. The 24.2mm F2.8 lens of this camera is fixed, and so does not have a zoom. You can use this lens to capture images in both JPEG and RAW formats. It can also capture low-quality 320 x 240 video. If you want to save pictures or video taken on the Sigma DP2x, you must provide your own SD/SDHC/SDXC card.
