On the durability side of things, the cold forged aluminum spool of this reel has a design geared toward lasting strength. These features are all shared throughout the Symetre line of spinning reels. The 2500 FJ differs from the other Symetre models in terms of inches of line retrieve per crank, weight, pounds of maximum drag, and line capacity.
