The following model, the Shimano Symetre 2500 FJ, increases the drag limit even further. All three share the same general features, including being rated for use with Mono, Flurocarbon and PowerPro lines and using a lightweight aluminum frame and graphite sideplate and rotor. The Propulsion Line Management System is used to make casting and reeling easier, and a slow oscillation S-Concept system prevents jams when cranking fast. The spool itself is built durable with cold forged aluminum for solid support, but balance is maintained with the Dyna-Balance system and a floating shaft that reacts to the action. Rubber handle grips are built in to reduce slipping, a maintenance port provides access to the interior of the spool, and the clicker itself is repairable.
