Product Shot 2 By eliminating backplay, the Super Stopper II anti-reverse one-way bearing helps the operation of this reel to be smooth. The Propulsion Line Management System of this reel utilizes a spool lip design that provides longer casting distances while cutting out backlash, which also contributes to the smooth factor. On the durability side of things, the Shimano Solstace 2500 FI is equipped with a cold forged aluminum spool.
