The Fluidrive II feature is a polished gear surface that helps to increase tooth contact. This makes casting more efficient, for more distance with less energy. Durability is another focus of this reel, as this reel's Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement system indicates. This system utilizes a cold forged aluminum drive gear and hardened brass pinion gear to help this reel retain its out-of-the-box smoothness for as long as possible. To aid in this reel's durability, the Shimano Saragosa SRG18000F's ball bearings are shielded, as well as corrosion resistant.

#shimano_saragosa_srg18000f Shimano Saragosa 18000 is for heavy duty blue salt water fishing for those who don't want to pay $800+ for Stella or other high end reels. Not sure who picks related products, but a lightweight freshwater reel is not really related.
