Sennheiser RS 180
$300.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Very comfortable. Sennheiser sound signature - nice and bassy for a wireless headphone. Some passive noise isolation - a good amount means quiet ambient noises won't bother you, but you will hear if somebody comes to the door / calls for you.
The Cons:High price for the majority of consumers. Some noise leakage is poor for use in a shared environment. Charging points yank on your hair painfully if you wear it around your neck.
The Sennheiser RS 180s is a high-end pair of wireless headphones, released in early 2010. The open, circum-aural design is used in conjunction with neodymium magnets and a variety of technologies for accurate audio reproduction.

The included transmitter doubles as a docking station, allowing the RS 180s to be charged while not in use. Virtually no setup is required, making these headphones plug and play.
These digital wireless headphones use Kleer technology on the 2.4 GHz frequency, allowing for music to transmit through the air uncompressed. When they reach the headphone’s dynamic transducer system, audio is reproduced within the 18 Hz - 21000 Hz range. The base station not only charges the RS 180s, but can also transmit to up to 4 people with compatible headphones. Sound levels are controlled automatically, and left/right balance can be manually controlled by the user. A pair AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries are included in the box.
