Sennheiser PX 100-IIi
$119.95
Released February, 2011
The Pros:Improves on the very popular PX-100 model - remote w/ microphone, more durable headband and all-black aesthetic. Very comfortable to wear. Affordable price point for a quality pair of headphones.
The Cons:Open design - sound leaks both in and out, poor for use on the go in loud environments or in quiet places where you might bother others. Bassy sound signature isn't neutral / balanced for listeners of softer and more detailed oriented genres.
The Sennheiser PX 100-IIi is a mid-cost set of on-ear headphones designed to play music and take calls from the iPhone. The integrated mic and remote allow you to control calls and music playback.

Of course, these headphones can also be used with MP3 and CD players. The neodymium magnets built into these headphones make for a nearly distortion-free sound, even with frequencies at the extreme ends of the spectrum. The open design of the PX 100-IIi contributes to a natural sound reproduction. This design is the main factor that makes these headphones cost less than the PX 200-IIi model, which has a padded, closed design. To help ensure durability, the Sennheiser PX 100-IIi headphones are equipped with a steel-reinforced headband.
