The Samsung UN60D6400 is the largest in a series of affordable 3D displays. The 60 inch viewing area is an expansion over the previous model, the Samsung UN55D6400. They share all other features, including a 120Hz refresh rate and 3D viewing made possible through double frame-rate technology.

Bluetooth support allows the use of Bluetooth 3D active glasses as well. The edge-lit LED backlighting is enhanced by local dimming for deeper blacks and sharper color contrast, and pictures can be displayed in up to full 1080p high definition. When connected through WiFi, a number of Samsung apps provide access to video content as well as a search engine that looks through Netflix, Vudu and Amazon VOD all at once. DLNA protocols are also enabled providing access to content stored on a locally networked computer.
