Samsung SyncMaster MD230
$1,899.00
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Displays feature DisplayPort inputs meaning adapters do not need to be used. Thin display bezels compared to the majority of displays on the market. Displays are quality IPS panels - reduced annoying colour shifting issues which would be a huge problem with this number of monitors otherwise.
The Cons:High price at about $500 per display. Distracting bezels - as with all multi-monitor setups. IPS technology is poor for hardcore gamers who require a good refresh rate without any input lag.
The Samsung SyncMaster MD230 is a wrap-around display system designed for hardcore gamers. Available in three-screen or six-screen configurations, each display offers a maximum 2560x1600 resolution with support for 1080p video content.

However, they can all be configured together up to a mass 5760x2160 resolution at 60Hz with an 8ms refresh rate via a 3x2 array. In addition, the screens can be mounted horizontally (gaming) or vertically (stock-chart analysis). Keep in mind that these advanced systems—featuring DVI and DisplayPorts—require an ATI graphics card that supports Eyefinity multi-screen technology.
