The Samsung SH100 is a point-and-shoot compact digital camera designed to work directly with online services. An integrated Wi-Fi connection allows direct uploading of images and videos to the Internet, and the phone comes with a Boingo account giving access to over 200,000 Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide.

This connection is fully compatible with services such as Facebook, Picasa and YouTube, and it can also be set to automatically back up images to a PC whenever a connection to the home network is detected. Images can be viewed on a HD display through wireless DLNA connection as well. Android powered Galaxy S smartphones can be used as a remote control for the camera for group shots, with the phone acting as a viewfinder, controlling the zoom and the shutter release. The phone's sensor is 14.2 megapixels, and uses a 5x optical zoom.
