The Series 7 is a laptop computer from Samsung that offers an alternative to the other "Series" models that the company has available. Available in 14 and 15.6-inch screen sizes, this model features a sleek brushed aluminum exterior for minimizing scratches and fingerprints.

Product Shot 2 Processing duties are handled by second-generation units from Intel's Core series, available up to the quad-core i7 model that runs at 2.2 gigahertz. Intel's own "ExpressCache" technology helps to accelerate boot-up speeds and general loading times, utilizing a solid state memory with up to 8 gigabytes of RAM. High-quality visuals are provided by the AMD Radeon HD6750M chipset, supplemented by "SuperBright" technology for showcasing the computer's matte 16-million-color display. Two USB 3.0 ports are included for optimal data transfer rates amongst external hardware, with a single USB 2.0 port available for support of older devices. An additional externally-mounted flash memory drive is included upgraded versions of the Series 7, providing users with an additional 8 gigabytes of power for multitasking and other CPU-intensive applications. The laptop also features a flip-down ethernet port for wired internet users, working with the unit's slim design to provide a full range of connectivity options.
