Released March, 2011
The Pros:Fast enough to be used by hardcore gaming enthusiasts. Sleek design with a nice looking stand and minimal bezel. Can see it from extreme angles without the picture fading or colors drastically distorting.
The Cons:Stand is a little unstable, monitor rocks back and forth a bit if you hit the desk. Out of the box settings seem way off, needs lots of adjustment.

Additionally, the S27A550H sports Magic Angle technology as well as both HDMI and VGA video input options.
The S27A550H's 2ms response time allows it to handle fast-moving media with no ghosting or blurring for a very smooth, clear picture at all times. Its Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio enhances the S27A550H's static 1,000:1 contrast ratio by way of localized backlight dimming, resulting in extremely deep blacks and bright whites. Meanwhile, the S27A550H's Eco Motion Sensor utilizes a Pyrolectric Infrared Ray sensor to detect movement directly in front of the monitor, turning the monitor on automatically when a person approaches and turning off again when no movement is detected for a short period of time.
